Tips to Remain Anonymous

Using the CrossPay tool can help you maintain anonymity on-chain. However, if you don’t protect your identity both upstream and downstream, your anonymity may only be partial. Here are some practices to enhance your privacy

1. Use TOR and/or a VPN  Your Internet Service Provider (ISP) can identify you through your IP address. To prevent third parties from knowing that you are using CrossPay , consider utilizing TOR and/or a reliable VPN for your transactions. Be cautious with free VPNs, as they often keep logs or sell your data. Opt for reputable VPNs that advertise a "no-log policy."

2. Delete Data Your browser can reveal a wealth of information regarding the extensions you use. After each deposit or withdrawal, make sure to delete your browser data. If multiple transfers are conducted using the same cookies, the extension you’re using may link those transactions together, compromising your anonymity.

Use Multiple Addresses

Depositing 7 x 10 ETH from one address and then withdrawing 7 x 10 ETH to a single address can create a link between the two transactions. To enhance your privacy, make sure to use multiple withdrawal addresses.
